I was also not a fan of the voiced protagonist. I don't consider Automatron a story DLC because it's basically one long 'shoot em up quest' (something I had a problem with in Fallout 3 with Operation Anchorage). He just doesn't have the charm that Three Dog and Mr. Additionally, I think Travis, as much as I like him, is by far the worst radio DJ so far. Quests were much more linear and didn't really provide much variation in how to complete them. I was disappointed with the RPG and story elements.
